Participation requirements
It is the responsibility of the student to interact with the material provided on the Canvas site in relation to the self-directed theoretical
elements. Prior to the face-to-face lectures and practical sessions, the expectation is that the material covered in the preceding weeks will have
been covered. Attendance at the face-to-face practical classes is required to complete the relevant assessment items. It is the student's responsibility to ensure
that their attendance at Practical classes is recorded correctly and that they complete the assessment items allocated to classes. Students are
required to attend and complete assessment items based on the Practical for which they have been allocated.
If students are unable to attend an allocated practical, correspondence with the unit convenor must occur beforehand.
Required IT skills
The use of Canvas, library searching skills, word processing, interpretation of data and creation of graphs using Excel and electronic
presentations skills are necessary for this unit.
