In my sculpture, I chose to address the pressing issue of overfishing. During my research, I came across several articles highlighting how fish shops, due to the decline in fish populations, have started selling shark meat in place of traditional fish. This is particularly alarming given the current endangerment of many shark species.
For the sculpture itself, I created a fish and chip box. However, instead of the familiar battered fish, I replaced it with a hammerhead shark. The menu includes various news headlines that address the problem of overfishing.
