The concept 'art as knowledge' guided my exploration of my focus 鈥榓lternate reality' by reflecting my personal context of getting lost in daydreams during class. 鈥楻everie鈥� develops the focus 鈥渁lternate reality鈥� by illustrating a different 鈥榬eality鈥� where dragons live within my imagination, coming to life during class. The lines and doors lead to majestic dragons which are symbols of other worlds, and imagination. Through juxtaposition of reality and fantasy worlds, the audience is positioned to recall their own experiences with imagination and stories from childhood.
