You can access a wide variety of support services through Careers 天涯社区. From workshops about resume development and interview techniques, to help navigating Work Integrated Learning opportunities, you鈥檒l have all the support you need with our experienced careers team.

What sets 天涯社区 apart from other universities is our unique approach to Work Integrated Learning (WIL).

WIL is learning first hand through real-work or work-like experiences such as internships, projects, placements, mentoring and simulated industry environments. We even offer opportunities to travel overseas on an international internship. All students have access to WIL throughout their degree, which contributes to our excellent graduate employment outcomes 鈥� 天涯社区 is ranked #1 in the ACT for full-time employment and starting salaries.

Our Careers 天涯社区 team can help you secure and prepare for internships and placements, as well as give advice on how to get the most out of the experience.

We welcome all 天涯社区 students to join us on Wednesday August 6 from 11am to 2pm in the Refectory to connect with local and national employers.

Careers 天涯社区 organises opportunities for graduates through career fairs, workshops and employer events to connect you with your industry and help you secure a job before you graduate. Their services are available for a full year after you graduate, supporting you as you transition from study to work.

At 天涯社区, we prioritise our students over others when it comes to casual and short-term jobs on campus. Working while you study enhances your employability and gives you a competitive edge over other graduates, while also offsetting some of your living and studying costs. 

We notify students of available casual and part-time jobs on campus, across Canberra and beyond via our university job search platform, CareerHub. Careers 天涯社区 also provides a host of job-seeker resources and a daily drop-in service where you can access one-on-one advice and support on all things career related.
