Research Festival 2024

Research in real life

ÌìÑÄÉçÇø research makes an impact on our community.

From making our lakes and wetlands cleaner and healthier ecosystems for people to enjoy, to helping children engage with science, technology, engineering and mathematics at home as well as in the classroom, ÌìÑÄÉçÇø’s research plays an active role in shaping Canberra, our region and its people.

The ÌìÑÄÉçÇø’s Research Festival 2024 was held between 31 October and 28 November at locations around the region and on our beautiful Bruce campus. The focus of the Festival was to share the impact of ÌìÑÄÉçÇø research on people and place.

Research Festival 2024 saw the launch of the Life of a CBRn installation: a visual timeline outlining examples of our research that has impacted Canberrans across their lifetime. Explore the research through the digital experience at or on our impact library.

We hope you enjoyed Research Festival 2024, our biggest and boldest festival to date!
